Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. a competition at the Olympics. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi later the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was only six years old. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships which she was 13th place in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci won. In 1972, in the communist nations' meet for juniors before the Olympics, she took home three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974, she became the all-around junior champ. At her first competitive event at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva, a Russian athlete, won five gold medals as well with one silver. In 1976 she became the first female athlete in the world to utilize a reversed double salto to dismount from parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career as an entertainment professional as a teenager in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with the sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her journey into the entertainment industry as a teenager. She began her career as model skater with her sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating that included theatrical performances.
