Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13, 1962. Her film debut was with 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for best female leading role. This was due to her performance in the role of Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and a writer. At the beginning of the 80s, she made her debut as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, following her success in a movie that she appeared in, the actress acted on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film, directed by him, was one of history's greatest high-school films. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed 50 million dollars. Additionally, she began being featured in various shows on TV like CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. It was a show for teenagers that started airing in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
